We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott because the Hyatt Place had cancelled one of our rooms without notifying us. They said it was because my name was on another reservation so they cancelled one room. I was very upset as I had 4 teenage girls with us and they cancelled their room. The attendant at the front desk thought it would be ok if I left 4 teenage girls alone in the hotel for the evening. The Courtyard Marriott was next door, I quickly booked two rooms online, left the Hyatt Place and went next door. The evening attendant was very friendly and got us checked in quickly as she could see I was very upset. The girls got their room and my husband, son and myself got our room. I even received a complimentary drink for my troubles. The rooms were a nice size, clean, and the beds where unbelievably comfortable. They didn't offer breakfast but had a little Starbucks café in the lobby, with 4 teenage girls who like their coffee, it was an easy decision to get some coffee there and something lite to eat. Great Hotel.

The breakfast was fine, Veronica was excellent at answering any questions we had or additions to our order. We had sausage, egg, & cheese croissant. It was very tasty warm and surprisingly filling. I had it with fruit and my husband had it with the potatoes. Next morning we had bagels and cream cheese. We appreciated that coffee was always available in the lobby. Very quiet, a wonderful relaxing weekend. Check-in was a breeze, Very friendly staff always there to assist.

The woman at the front desk who checked me in was one of the biggest reasons for the “excellent” rating . Don’t get me wrong, your facilities and rooms are very nice but the customer service was TOP NOTCH! I’m actually more disappointed I didn’t get her name to be able to include it here. My stay was was a getaway-as a mom of 4 kids and a school social worker during one of the toughest school years- so I was taking a night away to re-charge to finish the school year strong. There were many teams staying at the hotel, in town for weekend to tournaments. She went out of her way to ensure I was placed in a more quiet area of the hotel away from the coming & goings of the teams. She even checked in on me to make sure I was satisfied with the location of my room! You don’t get that kind of service these days. It meant a lot and am grateful she was working the front desk the night of my stay!

The best part of the hotel is the location. The walkable score is 100%. You are close to shopping, food, and activities. Breakfast is by order only. Public areas are very clean and well maintained. Also very quiet at night. The beds are amazingly comfortable, upholding the Marriott standard.
